This site is operated by Memento Originem Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17399903, whose registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.

HR Origin and HRMate are our trading names. HR Horizon, HR Intel, HR Odyssey and HR Archon are others. They are brands, not separate companies, and any contract you enter is with Memento Originem Limited.

“We” and “us” below mean that company. “You” means you, the person using this site.

If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We may update these terms, and the date at the top will tell you when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version, so it is worth a glance if you are relying on anything here.

It describes who we are, what our advisory work involves and what the Origin platform does. It is a description of our services, not an offer capable of acceptance. A contract exists between us only when we have both signed one.

We write about employment law, HR process and the obligations that fall on employers. All of it is general information, published to be useful to a wide audience. None of it is legal advice, HR advice, or advice about your organisation, your situation or your people.

Employment law changes, it turns on facts, and the right answer for one employer is frequently the wrong answer for another. Do not act on something you read here without taking advice on your own circumstances. If you want that advice from us, engage us and we will give it properly, in writing, against the facts.

Nothing on this site creates a professional relationship between us, and no duty of care arises from you reading it.

The chat on this site is generated by an AI model. It is there to answer questions about our product and our services, and it is quick and useful for that. It can also be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken, and its answers are not checked by a person before you see them.

Treat it as a starting point rather than an answer. It does not commit us to anything: no price, no scope, no availability and no legal position stated by the assistant binds us.

Please do not type anything confidential into it, and do not put details about a named individual into it. It is not a secure channel and it is not the right place for a real case. If you have one of those, email hello@hrorigin.tech and a person will pick it up.

Where we publish pricing, we do it because hiding it wastes everyone's time. But the figures shown are indicative, exclusive of VAT unless we say otherwise, and may change.

The price that applies to you is the one in the order form or agreement we both sign. Nothing on this site fixes a price or entitles you to one.

The content, design, code, wordmarks, product names and imagery on this site belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright, database rights and registered and unregistered trade marks.

You are welcome to read the site, and to quote or link to it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, republish it as your own, use it to train a model, or use our brands in a way that suggests we endorse you or are connected with you.

Please do not:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
• scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site, or use automated means to place load on it;
• submit anything to our forms or chat that is false, unlawful, or somebody else's personal data that you have no right to share;
• introduce anything malicious, or attempt to interfere with the service.

If you think you have found a security problem, we would genuinely like to hear about it. Email security@hrorigin.tech. Report it to us in good faith and we will not pursue you for having looked.

This is a marketing site, and we provide it as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of error, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Uptime commitments for the Origin platform itself are a different matter and live in the client agreement, not here.

Where we link out, it is because we think the destination is worth reading. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. We are not trying to sign away the things that should not be signed away.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, or from reliance on anything published on it, including lost profit, lost business, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss.

If you are using this site as a consumer rather than for business purposes, you keep your statutory rights and this clause does not affect them.

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. In short: this site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
