    Free right to work register

Who can legally work here, and can you prove it?

Most right to work registers live in a spreadsheet that tracks visa expiry and nothing else. This one imports that spreadsheet and tells you whose follow-up is due, whose has lapsed, and where the evidence for each check is filed.

Your register never leaves your browser. There is no server, no account and no database. It makes no network request at all, not even for a font.

No cost. No card. One email, so we know who we built it for.

The Right to Work register: four tiles reading on the register, excuse valid, needs attention and no excuse, above a red line naming the civil penalty exposure.

    01 · What it does

Import the sheet. See the gaps.

A right to work check is only worth something if you can produce it, on the day you are asked. The register holds the fact of each check, the date the next one is owed, and a pointer to where the copy is filed. It never holds the documents themselves.

    Import what you have

Drop in the spreadsheet you already keep. It reads your column names, works out the date order from the data, and tells you what it could not read rather than guessing.

    See who is covered

Each person is read against the List A and List B rules: no follow-up ever, follow-up on expiry, or follow-up six months from a Positive Verification Notice.

    Know what is due

Follow-ups sorted by urgency, overdue ones in red, and the civil penalty exposure stated in pounds for anyone currently working without a check on file.

    Keep the evidence findable

Every check records who did it and where the copy lives, and a retention clock tells you when a leaver's records should be destroyed.

    02 · The guarantee

The register never leaves the room.

This is a list of your people and their immigration position. Putting that on someone else's server feels like a bad idea, and you would be right to refuse. So the register does not ask you to, and it refuses to hold the documents at all.

    Nothing is uploaded

The spreadsheet is read by code running on your own device. Nothing about your people is ever sent anywhere.

    No account, no server

There is no login, no database and no backend behind the tool. We could not see your register even if we wanted to.

    No documents, ever

It records that a check happened, what kind, when it expires, and where the copy is filed. Passport numbers, share codes and images have no field to go in.

    Check for yourself

Open your browser's Network tab and watch it work. It makes no request at all. The rules it reads against are written inside the file, where you can see and edit them.

    03 · Who it’s for

Employers who run this in Excel and know it.

    • The office manager who holds the register in a spreadsheet and gets a cold feeling every time someone mentions a visa.
    • The founder with twenty to two hundred staff, a sponsor licence, and no idea when the next follow-up check is owed.
    • The fractional HR consultant inheriting a client's register and wanting to see its gaps before the first meeting.
    • Anyone who has ever been asked “can you show me the check?” and had to go looking.

    04 · The link

Ask for it, and Rob will send it to you.

Tell us who you are and Rob will email the register to you himself, usually within a working day, along with a short note on getting your spreadsheet in. It is sent by hand rather than by robot, because knowing who we built it for is the only thing we want in return.

We will email you the tool, and we may follow up once to ask what you made of it. We do not sell your details, and you can tell us to stop at any time. Full detail in our privacy notice.
